Gohan's Ascension (Patreon)

I was deep into watching DBZ on toonami every day after school and during the Cell Games it was at it's peak with me. I was so anxious on what would happen and once Gohan ascended and became SS2, I knew right then that this was definitely gonna be my favorite show. 

I grew up with the old funimation dub where Stephanie Nadolny played Gohan and so her voice is  who I always hear anytime I see young Gohan.

I have all the love in the world for Colleen's Gohan performance in Kai, but I'm wearing nostalgia goggles here. 

That final Kamehameha vs Cell was something that got my heart pumping and I was on the edge of my seat the entire episode until Gohan burst with energy and destroyed Cell. I was screaming so much my mom came in and turned the TV off and told me to keep it down, so I did miss out on the rest of the episode that day, but still, I saw an amazing moment.
