Hey all! So near the beginning of the month I ended up at the doc cause I was having a bunch of pain and it turned out I tore something in my left shoulder. More than likely from yard work or something akin to that.

ANYWHO... it definitely impacted my art time, but I do have a nice amount of stuff to share regardless! I found a nice way to work where I would take breaks and make sure shoulder stuff was alright and do art when I was able to.

So taking care of myself, but pretty dang frustrating when it came to art time.

But I'm already doing better, it seems to be healing up okay.

So it pushed finishing Sleepy Town Jam back to June, but ah well. Gonna be getting right on that.

Also I'm going to start testing out streaming stuff so I can work on art for the game I mentioned. Streams will be on Twitch since that's sfw character art and while not adult, I do hope some of you will come check that out once its up and going!, The game is going to have plenty of cuties I think a lot of you would enjoy!

I'm also planning on playing games on that channel in my down time. I've been on a Fromsoft kick, so stuff like Elden Ring and Dark Souls will be there for sure, maybe some Hollow Knight and other fun stuff.

My goal on all of this is just to get way more active so people can come hang out and have fun while I do art or play games. I'll make sure and post here when its up and ready to go of course!

Anywho, now I'm gonna get to posting art!

Oh yikes, I work at a computer all day and shoulder injuries are just painful! I imagine it would be even worse slinging a pencil around, I hope you’re able to heal up. If you use a mouse with that arm a lot getting an ergonomic trackball instead could help reduce some of the strain time….they’re odd to get used to but I find they really help and if you play console games your thumb will adapt quickly 😆

2023-07-10 08:34:23 yeah~ it's definitely not great. >< The main thing I have to be thankful for is that I'm right handed and the injury is in my left shoulder blade. So while it impacts the hand I use for shortcut keys when doing art, my drawing hand is thankfully pain free. Really the only reason I was able to get anything done this month cause even then the pain just makes you crazy tired!
