Ask Jam , Patreon changes & other news! (Patreon)

Hey all! So before I get to posting art, I wanted to talk about some upcoming changes to my Patreon.

First off, due to inflation/current cost of living I'm going to be changing how my Patreon is structured & it's price.

(The changes won't be until mid October, so nothing is happening NOW now) 

I'm going to be simplifying things. There will only be two tiers.

A donation tier and a tier where you get everything I'm working on and that's it.

This does mean the $3 and $5 tiers will be going away.

 Donation is whatever someone wants to donate and the top tier will be $10/monthly. Sorry for the price hike, but everything costs too much now for me to leave the price where it is and still get by.

With the new structure will also come a change in content. For those that are fans of the NSFW material, no worries! NSFW is still going to be the main event here.

The top tier's focus will be on bigger projects. While there will still be sketches and pinups and whatnot, it'll be more about finished comics and image series.

I've spent a lot of time designing characters and worlds over the last couple of years and I want to make sure their stories happen.

The aim is to be less scatter shot and more about seeing through comics, stories and any other longer ideas I might want to work on.

Second, I wanted to talk about something that's eating up chunks of my time currently.

That being the problems with my online digital/physical goods store.

While my online store is still functioning, it's got some major problems that there's just no way to work around, so I'm having to spend time working on a new digital shop which will be on itch.io and a new physical goods store that will be on Big Cartel. This is taking a pretty good amount of time unfortunately alongside everything else I need to take care of in general daily art life.

So with that in mind I'm going to be putting Ask Jam on hiatus for just a bit. Both so I have some breathing room for work, but also so I can properly write out the major story arc I have planned for the series. 

I am going to make some Ask Jam art to fill the time I missed posting though. So while not comics, it's something and I hope you'll all enjoy the content.

Anywho, this post is way longer than I intended, but it's all stuff I wanted to talk about and I hope that the new focus on bigger projects will be exciting! I'm definitely pumped to take the characters that have been designed on here and turn them into, well, actual characters! Doing stuff! Having fun! And uh, having "fun"! You know X D
