November-December 2022 Content Dump (Patreon)

Hey there all! Light here. Happy New Year! I hope the months been treating everyone swell so far. Been bustin' my ass trying to get stuff done lol Just gonna heads up from now, this dump is NOT a mega-dump by any means. I have been absolutely glued to my last comic project and have had little to no time to get illustrations done 😔 There's a couple here and there, but yeah, was caught up all of December. But lets get into the first bullet points of the year.

NGL, IT'S A LITTLE ROUGH OVER HERE- So last time I made a post here I spoke of how my Gramps had passed away in November. It was a pretty hard hit for me since I was really close to him. Ended up spending a lot of time with family for the duration of the month until everyone funneled out nearing December. But like just as soon as that was over, an aunt of mine passed...lol I'm not really close to her, so that wasn't stressful for me personally, but there was a lot of shuffling around late Nov- early Dec. Lot of funds spent around that time, so I'm really hoping I can recoup that in the coming months, so a lot of pressure to make this comic decent.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is good!- It's a shitty mess of bugs but like, it's good, I swear! I originally planned to shelf the game til the new year but I was feeling kinda down and out and needed something to take my mind off things. Ended up having a really good time. The open world is def a great step forward and playing with friends is super fun!! I don't wanna spoil anything because the plot is really solid this time around. That's my Lightsource stamp of approval. Can't wait to start drawing for the game.

My Slice of Chaldea Available Now!- My last project of 2022 which is now inadvertently my first project of 2023! An anthology of F/GO servants that I personally wanted to give some shine. There's still some extras I wanna throw in before I make it available for Gumroad, but as it is now, $5 and above patrons can have access to the base comic(Expect an email shortly). This one ate up a fuckton of time because of all the elaborate designs I had to work with. But like I'm pretty content with what I have so far. 

New $50 Tier!- I have some nerve asking for more money during a content drought lmao This tier is going to be the new place to get the complete content archive. As time progresses, my archive gets larger and larger, so the price was starting to not fit. I think it will be comfortable at this tier for a very long time. That said, the $25 tier will get access to half of the overall archives(so like the last 3 years of content). This new tier is geared towards the folks that are Collectors. To go with that, the other perks will be %50 off on all merch items for my shop. Yeah I'm totally leaning into it this year!!  

New Direction- 2022 Was not a great year for me mentally. I feel like my brain was scrambled from start to finish. This year I think I'm going to focus on myself again. I just got really caught up in being a really social person and being "likable" to the point where I didn't even really like who I myself was. I just wanna sit in my corner and draw the things I love. Draw more OC illustrations and comics. I don't think I will lean heavy into huge Gumroad projects this year, so maybe some commission openings here and there to pad me out while I focus on the shop. We will see.
