Meet The OCs Event! (Patreon)

As you all know, I love my OCs, and I love doing silly comics with them. But I love drawing other people characters too!! So I made a tier perk for the $5 and up patrons, that they could get a short comic introducing their character to the page. At the time of me making that perk, I was a smaller Patreon, with only a handful of $5+ tiers, so I only ever got 3 or so nibbles. Since then I've gotten SO MANY people asking about them! But I've always been busy with comm work that I could never get them done. So to make up for lost time, I'm making an entire event focused on them!

What Exactly is "Meet the OCs"?

The idea has always been to do a flat colored, 4koma styled comic that gives people a good feel of your oc. You would pick a character you'd like to introduce yours and I would do a little skit and post them up on the page, giving you a sort of promo(and some page plugs if you're an artist). The whole idea was to for me to get a little closer to patrons knowing their ocs/sonas, and for them to get a little spotlight. If done right, I would do one every week or couple of weeks and post in bulk to my Twitter. 

Huh. So What's this Event?

Aiight so boom. From August 16th- August 24th, I'll be taking entries for a meet the OCs competition! You'll enter your information(details below) and I'll do a bunch of Meet the OC's comic strips. At the end of the event, I'll create a Patreon poll, and people from all pledge tiers will vote on which OC they think left the best impression on them. In addition to the comic strips for joining- 

• All participants will get 1 chibi of their selected OC. 
• Third Place will get a Sketch commission of their selected OC 
• Second Place will get a Simple Pinup of their selected OC and one bonus event chib
• The Winner will get a Background Pinup of their selected OC and bonus event chib

To enter, I'll need you to message me stating-

I would like to enter the competition!!

OC Name:

1-3 attached images of their design

2 cool details about them that you'd like the page to know!

A brief description of their mood/demeanor/personality

Who you'd like to introduce them! 

Based on the information you submit, I will throw together a cute, quirky, or funny comic of them, and post them to the page for Patrons to see periodically after the deadline. 

WARNING! You have 0 control over where I take the comic! The challenge is to figure out what's your best oc for the event, what information is good to put down, and which OC is good to bounce off of with them. Some of my OC's are sweet and will give them a warm welcome, others will either roast um, or suck their dick right there! You can choose any OC from my almost never ending list of characters, but for anyone who's new to my roster and would still like to enter, I've provided some sample OCs above. 

Rules

• You must be at the $5 or above($10, $25) to enter the event. If you'd like to raise your pledge to enter, that is permitted. 
• OC picked must be your own! You cannot use characters of other friends or direct franchise characters(ie. don't submit a straight up Gardevoir named Beth). Personas/Fursona's are okay as well!
• You can only submit one OC for the event, so be careful. 
• If you cannot provide a minimum of 1 reference image to draw from, you can't enter, sorry.

• All entries must be in by August 24th.
