March 2024 Content Dump (Patreon)

Heyo! Hope you guys aren't blind from looking at the sun today. Hitting you with this months content update. Can't say I have a lot to update folks on right now, it's relatively quiet right now. But there are some small stuff here and there. To get into it:

Rest in Peace Akira Toriyama- As you all know, the man, the meme, the legend has passed 😔Toriyama was a guy that I found myself saying "fuck this dude!" more often than not, but I can't say it was out of genuine malice. Despite where Dragon Ball as a franchise went, it's undeniable that I wouldn't be here right now if not for it's existence. I'm sure you guys have heard this stuff from every single artist at this point, so I wont go in depth. But Toriyama's works have been a large part of peoples lives and will continue to be! I think we should celebrate what he's given us for many years to come. His light will never fade!! Rest well Toriyama-

Congrats to our Poll Winner!- This months poll winner was Peg Pete from Goof Troop! Idk how that happened but it did lmao Was convinced I was gonna be drawing Meowscarada. But whatever, I'm all for variety and underdog characters! Ended up pulling names out of a hat and drawing some of the other poll entries, so there's a couple consolation sketches sprinkled in this batch. Had a lot of fun drawing Peg. Will definitely have to draw Sylvia from the Extremely Goofy Movie soon.

Muscle Poll- I'm itching to draw some unga bungas! As far as my ocs go, I only really have the hyper shredded Helen, the swolefat Emily, and the slimmer Morgan. All fun ocs, but their designs have a lot going on besides their muscles. Kinda just wanna draw some buff girls that have a lot less going on/err more on the human side. So for the first time in a bit, I'm opening suggestions for muscle girl contenders! If you're at the $5 and above tiers, in the dedicated Discord, head over to #a-sweet-deal and toss up a ref of who you think I should do. If you aren't a Discord savvy user, comment your suggestion below! I will stop taking suggestions 4/15/24.

The Landscape- As you may have noticed, the art landscape has become more and more turbulent these last couple months- specifically this last month. Gumroad recently shuttered it's doors for NSFW content creation, Patreon is consistently encroaching on what is permitting on the site, and now Twitter is making it more frustrating to even look through an artists content. I've already made a Subscribestar, however, I really need to start putting it together and pushing it soon. It's extremely frustrating, but it is what it is. As for the Gumroad side of things, I feel extremely betrayed. I always had faith in the site and this new partnership with Paypal/Stripe comes as a slap to the face. Will I stop making comics? No. Even before Gumroad, this Patreon was made with the focus of producing comics, so I will continue to do so. I've taken steps to get my content put into other places, but that won't come to fruition until next month I believe. A lot of things will have to change, and I can only ask you guys be patient with me.
