A Big New School Year - 1 - (Sketch and Ramble) (Patreon)

All my favorite inspirations are comics and poster work in black and white so I tend to choose a lot of decisions in black and white when I have the time to absorb and analyze it. I obsess over consistent quality so if my work is even a little deviant from my typical level, the next artwork becomes a mental battle bigger than the last lol. In this one, I wanted to do a lot of indoor work but, as you can imagine, its a lot harder to get away with a lot of compositions INSIDE versus outside where you can have all kinds of space to show scale. I've been getting suggested 3d modeling to handle work and since I like feeling free when I draw, I was open to trying out ways to tighten up my process (My old art school teachers would be so livid haha). I've been told my method looks kind of random so hopefully these installments will help give more clarity for people who like what I do and want to try doing it themselves! <3
