Wow there are so many of these things! Been slowly working my way through all the prompts for the month with these traditional inks! Really been quite the experience playing around with a dip pen and all of my tools to do so!

Going to go ahead and list off all the little blurbs I made for social media for each one also:

Inktober #1: Dream

To sail above the clouds, searching for the ancient ruins and technology of an old world. Vast clouds slowly drifting by as Bod watches a towering Foundation slowly pass across the horizon.

Inktober Day 2: Spider

"The mag wires they produced were always such a hassle around the Verdigris forest. Too many travelers have gotten snared in those tightly woven tripwires the Spindly Weavers love to lay. But those wires come in really handy if you can salvage them..."

Inktober Day 3: Path

"Seeing the ice dusted pathways of the Shaft was truly breathtaking. Despite the foreboding atmosphere that seemed to rise from it's frozen depths, I can't help but fall in love with the ancient ruins."

Inktober Day 4: Dodge

"There is no room for error against the more aggressive of the restless. Being light on my feet and quick to move was the only thing that saved me from old Lantern head. The old Geezer was right, some places are better left unexplored..."

Inktober Day 5: Map

"It was pretty basic by most standards, but the little device helped immensely when it came to plotting out areas. Could usually find a junk shops in every town that might have an old nav chip that gave me some info on the ruins, but most were dubious at best..."

Inktober Day 6: Golden

"The cities of the Verdigris forest tended to trade in rare metals harvested from the towering inorganic trees. Of the denominations, the gold nuts extracted from the tungsten fruits was the most treasured."

Inktober Day 9: Bounce

"I am not a fighter. I've learned all too quickly that sometimes it's better to run rather than try and tangle with the Restless in the ruins. Helps keep my poor backside intact. Really need to find some friends with a bit more punch to help out down there..."

Inktober Day 10: Fortune

"I found out rather quickly how easy it was to completely strip some ruins of every valuable part, scrap, or device I could find. I also learned rather quickly that getting back out the door with said loot could be rather difficult..."

Inktober Day 12: Spicy  "The potted pepper plant has been growing remarkably well in it's new pot. The first few peppers finally started to ripen, showing a brilliant red color that fades into a darker scarlet. But most curious of all is the spirals that grow into the pepper"

Inktober Day 14: Castle

"It was colloquially nicknamed the Lighthouse and was one of the few foundational ruins that was built into the sky rather than the ground. The vast majority of the upper floors had never been explored, at least safely..."

Inktober Day 15: Dagger

"I've finally finished modifying the thigh armor to incorporate those throwing daggers. It's amazing just how much energy those little blades can hold. Despite that they can only hold their edge for a second or two, but thats all that they need..."

Inktober Day 16: Angel

"Ali has taken well to the new expansion slot we found. The tie in with the armor has allowed her to control the swarms to such a degree that it can create a instant shield against projectiles. She is quickly turning into my little guardian angel!"

Inktober Day 17: Demon

"I've also learned that Ali tends to have no problem at teasing me during the most inopportune times. I'm not sure sure why, but her original creator seemed to think that giving her a sharp sense of humor to work with was a smart thing to do..."

Inktober Day 18: Saddle

"The Mag scooter was initially cobbled together from the wreckage I found the void suit in. Still has some kinks to work out, but it's at least made travel on the old roads much more bearable on my poor legs!"

Inktober Day 19: Plump  "He likes to call them my "Carrier Hips". Although it's a little bit embarrassing dealing with the sizes changes that come with carrying so much in the suit, at least it gives him something to stare at."
