So this pic has been in the head for about a month now. Took a bit of a break this week to quickly paint this up! I've been obsessed with reddish oranges on black patterning lately! SO have a bit of Bod chilling with a nice tea <3!

I was always curious how you settled on the square inset spirals on the character's body, or in this case, as part of the background itself. It's a nice touch and makes me wonder just how much of a pain it can sometimes be to try and work out how to draw it over a non-flat surface

Ye not sure where I originally got inspired by it, but I absolutely love a squarish spiral like this! Although yeah rendering it correctly on more rounded surfaces can be a pain in the butt some times haha
