Pendulum's Poise (Patreon)

Got the urge to attempt a maximum-realism, high-detail pic of Penny, something I could use as a perennial character profile pic. 

Think I might have made her TOO realistic with muscle mass being a lot smaller than her usual, I miss the overdeveloped upper body I usually give her, but I like how this picture turned out so don't really want to change it unnecessarily. So I'll call this a "younger version" of Penny, right at the start of her fighting career before the years of combat and training bulked her up. Most of the time I'm gonna draw her bigger and buffer than this.

I started doodling an abstract stylized frame, some kinda metal filigree with a nameplate.

I think I was a bit influenced by the designs of card games like Hearthstone.

I thought it would be neat to have a series of fancy framed pinups for each of my main characters, but that can wait on the back burner until I make more progress on the main comic storyline, there's a lot of ground I want to cover and story to tell before I get toooo sidetracked with distractions like this.
