Hey, Patrons! In case you missed the announcement on our website and twitter, we've just released another progress report!

In addition to this, we'd also like to make a plug for another new feature we just released in Early Access – Native controller support! While you’ve been able to use controllers in yuzu for a while, often these required third party tools such as DS4Windows or BetterJoy. With these improvements, native Switch controllers, such as your Pro Controller or Joy Cons will now “just work” with yuzu – without any additional setup or configuration. Additionally, DS4 and DS5 are also natively supported, among others. We hope this is a big convenience for new (and existing) users setting up yuzu and using motion controls, and it’s one step closer to accurately & fully emulating the Nintendo Switch!

As always – thank you! We would not be able to work on yuzu as much as we do without all of your amazing support. Stay safe, and we look forward to bringing you even more exciting updates soon!

Progress Report April 2021 · yuzu

Howdy yuz-ers! Another month gone, another progress report written. From new firmware versions to Vulkan fixes, we have quite a bit to talk about, so let's get right into it! As described in its own dedicated article, Morph and Rei have been very busy *rei*mplementing the applets yuzu uses.
