Hey Patrons! Happy December! The developers of yuzu are here with another batch of exciting updates, available in the latest Early Access builds of yuzu! If you didn't catch our other Mini-Update from just a few days ago, you can find it here.

First and foremost, one of the biggest changes in the past few days has been "Project Aether", the rewrite of the web browser applet by yuzu developer Morph. This is used by the Switch to show things like game manuals and EULAs. Notable examples of this include Super Mario Odyssey's Action Guide and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's many "How to Play" and "Mode Guide" help manuals.

If you've ever previously tried to use these features in yuzu, you may have seen how awful the experience was. With the recent rewrite, these now work with gamepads, and render much more accurately, such as by supporting the game's fonts. There are still a few issues with this feature, but overall, the experience is greatly improved. While we continue refining it, we'd love to hear your feedback on how it works for you!

Secondly, another big change this month was an audio emulation fix by yuzu developer ogniK. While the details of this fix are a bit technical, you can read up on the linked PR to learn more about it. In short, this change fixes garbled and incorrect audio in such games as Oceanhorn and Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, and likely improves audio in many other games!

Lastly, another really exciting change was mouse support by yuzu developer Narr the Reg. With this change, you are now able to use your mouse as an input source when mapping analog sticks or other buttons. This is especially useful for those who want to use a mouse and keyboard to play yuzu, such as for first-person games!

In addition, there have been dozens of other smaller fixes and improvements which we'll share with you in our November progress report in just a few days.

Until then – thank you for your support, and stay safe!

Can someone explain me something please? Whenever there is a progress update, does it mean that the changes are already included in the latest available Early Acces release?
