I think Ferns words awhile ago "Himmel trained you well" was spot on! He taught her the joy in traveling with friends and living in the moment and just the fact that Himmel thought mainly of the journey instead of the destination makes him even greater "and before i know it i'll have saved the world" almost like no matter what path he took as long as he was enjoying the times he had to the fullest it would lead him to his destination. It was honestly really nice to see how Fern feels about the journey as well i sadly had never even thought about it focusing so much on Frierens growth we can't forget Fern has been with her basically her whole life and it's nice to see she enjoy magic because it makes Frieren happy.

Agreed. Himmel was pivotal in Frieren's growth just as Heiter was for Fern, and Frieren is for Fern, too. I'd love to get Fern and Stark's perspective.
