For why they acted that way after they were cut all I'll say is they get into it more later but it's from rips (unrepairs) interpretation of the unrepair ability

Oh right for an example on interpretations that we have seen: all Andy's power does on a base level is negate his death and nothing more ............ Andy's and victhors regeneration that forms the basis for most of his moves was their interpretation of it (as in if they sit there bleeding out that would lead them closer to "death" and so to negate that they are able to regenerate their bodies. Another example is Andy can't grow older or get sick because it again would lead him closer to "death" in Andy's interpretation. It's entirely possible Andy will end up with an extremely different set of abilities than victhor if his interpretation of the ability expands enough
