Vector Sigma is an important part of Transformers Lore, dating back to the 80s cartoon. You see, before Simon Furman gave us Primus, Vector Sigma was the ancient super computer which gave life to the Cybertronian Race. Since the 90s, the Primus narrative has become the standard across the various media, but Vector Sigma is still referenced.
