This was a fun pair of episodes to kick off Monkie Kid S1. Like I said in the video, I can't wait to get to S3 and S4 because some of you told me it's top-tier. Enjoy the reaction.

Great reaction, bud. They never explain in the show why the clones turned bad, but my theory is that MK just kept them around too long and they got corrupted. Because in the book, Monkey King only used his clones to help him fight or for specific tasks that required him to be in multiple places at once, then immediately dispelled them. Also, the coat Party Clone is wearing is a subtle reference to the book as well. Because in Journey to the West, the first thing Wukong does after joining the Monk's quest to the Western Heaven is kill a tiger and wear its skin so he won't be naked; a act the Monk strongly disapproved of.
