since you're halfway through season 7 I should let you know about somethings about season 8 don't worry they aren't spoilers just some context about stuff so you'll wont ask questions about it 1. After season 7 they dropped the Airjitzu and elemental dragons the reason why was because they thought the ninja were too overpowered and wanted season 8 to be more grounded so if you're wondering why they don't use their elemental dragons or Airjitzu after season 7 that's why. 2. The designs of the ninja are changed in season 8 to fit their non cannon Ninjago movie counter parts. The reason why was because Season 8 came out a few months after the Ninjago movie and wanted New fans of Ninjago that came from the movie to be more familiarized with the cast. Hope this helps you with questions you'll probably have after season 7 that won't get explained in the show.
