The first two episodes of Frieren were very good. The feels train ran into me twice, once in each episode. I definitely enjoyed episode 2 more than episode 1, but that first one was good, too. I look forward to episode 3 & 4. Enjoy.

Do we get any action or nah? I feel like the action in this could be crazy. If not, that's fine too. I really enjoyed the vibe of these 2 episodes.

There is some action, but don't expect that to be the focus. From what I've read it's mostly going to be a character drama/SOL with some elements of action occasionally. Probably much like ancient magus bride.

I wouldn't say 3 blew me out of the water or anything. I'm just a sucker for stories that explore these kinds of themes, and this is hitting all the right notes.

Which is funny because Frierens VA is the same for Chise from Magus Bride, and Vivy.

There will be. To be honest the battle scenes are not that well done in manga, more like people stand still and release skills (just like JRPG lol). Hope the anime gets a good adaptation.

It's obvious that it happens, but it always get's me when I see something that I read a while ago on screen like this. Hit's you with that "No way, that's cool!" kinda feel.
