This is how you kick off a new season! Wow! I LOVED both of these episodes, and I can't wait to see where the road trip takes them as Macaque gives chase! Enjoy.

1. The guy Wukong fights at the beginning of the video is Prince Nezha, aka the Lotus Prince, son of Li Ying, one of the Devarajas or God Kings, who serve the Jade Emperor in Heaven. Short version, he's a badass. Also, if Nezha's voice sounds familiar, it's because he has the same English VA as Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach. 2. The Samadhi Fire is a big deal in JttW. It's so hot that water can't put it out. When Wukong was burned by it, he jumped into the nearest river he could find, but the temperature shock made his heart stop. Which is painful even for an immortal. 3. Monkey King's staff was originally a gigantic size changing iron pillar that I'm reasonably certain the Eastern Dragon King used to raise and lower the tides.

He's voiced by Johnny Young Bosch?! That's fucking awesome. That does sound painful. Poor Wukong. I hope they find a way to control it or they're in danger. That East Dragon is a badasss. Honestly, so many of these characters are badasses. I love it.
