Hey all! I just wanted to talk about something I've noticed with a few patrons-

When you subscribe or re-sub, make sure to stay in whatever tier you subscribe until near the end of your subscription! You may change tiers or delete to take a break before the end of your cycle (up to around 3-5 days prior) But I DO NOT recommend doing so as soon as you join or in between.

I'm aware everyone has to take breaks or want to change tiers and that's totally fine. However, it's always best to make changes near the end, not the start or middle of your payment cycle

The worst thing you can do is constantly upgrade and downgrade your tier many times in a row (why do this I don't know). Downgrading to a tier when you paid for a higher tier (For example: Going from Tier 2 --> down to Tier 1) in the same day/week of subscribing MIGHT prevent you from getting the perks you paid for!

You can upgrade tiers and get links and content for higher tiers, but if you do it in reverse (like the example above) when your subscription is still on going, you might not get content due to patreon seeing you as a different tier than the tier you paid for

Besides not getting content, you may also get banned for abusing the system (constantly upgrading/downgrading in the same day/week). If you received content and do this, you may get banned and NOT get a refund!

Example:

As always. If you just joined for the first time, be patient and wait the time it takes to receive your links (I make sure everyone gets them within 24 hours) You can check out more information how content gets distributed along with some good Q and A's HERE . You may also reach out to me through a DM if you have any other questions or haven't received your links after 24hrs-

Interesting I didn't know this was a thing but it's good to know but last time I upgraded is when you added the higher tier

It's only a few patrons, everyone else (including you) don't constantly up/down the tiers like the example. Upgrading is totally fine, it's mostly downgrading after paying for a higher tier that prevents the links getting distributed correctly ;P Or going up/down multiple times for the sake of testing the system x'D

Ugh that has to be the most infuriating message to get over and over again on your Patreon T.T

I mostly just feel bad for patrons paying for higher tiers, downgrading and then not getting the perks and draws 😩

Either some people are bad with making decisions or they just find it funny to do something like that.

Your decision is a good thing too, drop the hammer on these fools. You don't need the additional stress.
