Carmen and Kelsie update (Patreon)

Just wanted to chat with you folks about the story and tell you what my plans are, and hear from you in return, as communication is always key!

First things first: as one of my unofficial editors put it, this is still a nsfw comic, and the characters aren’t having much sex. This is a valid complaint as you guys wait for a long time for new pages, and some more action is always a plus. I want to say that I definitely plan to get there; to a point like Simon’s party where there’s constant pages and pages of sex and nudity. But I’m trying to set things up properly. In the past, you all have rightfully addressed me rushing the story for the sake of sex, or not giving enough time/focus on the sex. So this tricky balance is something I’m still working at.

My main goal right is to address a lot of the drama between characters and bring resolutions to them, so with that aside the characters can go at it like animals again. You saw the beginning of that with Carmen and Kelsie’s reunion (and I will 100% be drawing the full make up session next month!). I wanna continue to wrap up some of these storylines and then move on to more episodic short arcs in the future. Like what if Carmen and Kelsie go to the beach, or Mari and Mikey go to the movies, etc. Those arcs will be a lot more action/sex heavy, since their character arcs will have already been fleshed out.

So I ask that you just be patient with me and the comic! It was you guys’ feedback and care for the characters that made me want to take the comic seriously and flesh out the character interactions, so I want it to be satisfactory when we finally build up to the action. The line between porn and story is still a very tricky one to walk, but I think it’s a very worthwhile endeavor.
