Just a quick run into town to pick up some essentials. You gotta cope with these southern summers in whatever way you can >.<

Baron03 shot me his concept for a swamp-dwelling raccoon, who he even wrote a short story about. This ended up becoming both a 'thank you' for all the writing he's done inspired by my characters and artwork, as well as a small birthday surprise.

I honestly wish we had more raccoon visitors around here (Baylisascaris what now?), they've become such a rare sight. We do get plenty of deer, the occasional opossum, and rarely armadillos -- not bad for a somewhat built-up residential area.

Raccoons are adorable, but I wish I could send ya some of ours. My place is kinda overrun with 'em! They don't bring me beer, either! Or look as cute as this lady does. I love her cutoffs and how her lack of human-style hair gives her a somewhat wilder look. Plus I adore how soft she is!

This is spot on! OMG! So much of this is true. The pudge, the tight pants, the chill or don't give a hoot about the trivial things other people get all upset over. Mature, wise, and chill. At least, that's what I get from it. I'm looking forward to reading the story that inspired it. You really nailed that feeling. Love the tones and shading too. Just so smooth and flowing. Love the speckle marks on her forearms and legs too. Where the color gets dark. Great work. Thank you for posting and linking the story.

I'll gladly take em x3 I think we could all use a helpful raccoon that brings us our beverage of choice from time to time. And yeah, I do like playing with different hairstyles (including none at all) to get a certain look out of the character. I felt like a wilder vibe suited her nicely.

So awesome to hear this resonates ^^ When I read the description of the character my mind instantly went to work envisioning her. Like many (most?) of Baron03's characters she has no qualms about going topless where she wants, and how could I possibly argue?
