Hello everyone! We will be doing some changes this year. I also want to thank all of you for the support and love you have shown in supporting us.

It's been a long road since I made this Patreon page, and while at the beginning I had no idea how it worked, now I have a more clear idea after experimenting and checking how this worked with the community.

Now, the thing is... I've been having the same issue a lot of other creators have and fail in too, and that's having our Patreon change from a Hobby to a second "Job". I've been running in the same issue for a while now. That feeling of "oh I must do this for patreon" instead of wanting to.

So after thinking for awhile, we will do some changes to make everything simpler. This will affect rewards. I know some patrons will like or dislike these decisions and I fully understand, however I believe these changes are necessary to keep this patreon healthy.

CHANGES: These changes will be done slowly as time goes on.

Removing or heavily reducing the Early access reward:

We have reached a point were I no longer can keep proper track of all the unposted/posted works. It has become confusing on my end and we have to keep it in our mind constantly what can be released and what can't. It's unnecessary stress we want to remove. Also the whole point of this patreon was to be able to draw freely aside from work/commissions, and putting them on a lock down kinda contradicts itself. This will start happening next month.

Voting:

We will try to simplify voting, I'm still not sure the way we will do it but I have seen some patrons being confused about how the voting works and thus not voting. It feels convoluted. We will probably do these changes in the next few months.

Milestone extra pages:

A way from my end to thank you for your support was making an extra page for reaching a high amount of support. However, this is kind of backfiring at me for the same reasons I point out before, it feels like a must and not like a want. So I'll remove it starting next month.

Cameos and Patron character suggestions:

Currently is not being used properly, so we will  try to improve those rewards and allowing patrons to use their lifetime support more often, this is mostly for 40$ patrons but will also affect the 20$ tier. We will plan this also in the following months while we check the behavior on these changes.

Game Development:

It has been stuck  for a while now and that's not a good sign, I've been focusing too much on comics and pictures and kinda left the game aside. I will focus much more on the game in the next few months.

Change of Rules 2 Scene end:

The current scene of Change of Rules is about to end (not the comic itself) and will enter in hiatus for some time, this is mostly to allow other content to be funded and to take a break from it while I develop the story.

More changes like these may happen in the following months and depending on how things behave we may change or keep some stuff previously mentioned.

Thank you all again for the support all these years and the ones to come, we appreciate it a lot.

I definitely support you in your words, because sometimes I also face the same problem that a hobby is gradually turning into work. The main thing is to remove unnecessary stress.

That is the nature of work, people think that with ever increasing productivity and technical prorgess work will eb eraduicated, they are so wrong because art culture is work...... We as Human being need work, because we devlopp ourselfby the otehr and for the other. Work freed from exploitation is sharing your skill and expertise to the communictty in return they akncoledge your skill and give your ecognition for this. (This my best ways to translate teh word reconnaissance...) Yet on patreon you are just a dude on the market of good and services, socialy it is below being on the job market. Welcome to the "start up nation" as Macron said, to them market of good and services and slef exploitation is the future. You can say it is a mere hobby sure... But if you have interest in yoru work trust me... Your brain will wrap around it will be obssessed with it, and your skill in that domain will improove, you will activly look fro feedback..... And then you will be liek a man having to choose between two gal's. As you fall more in love with this kind of work you will rely more and more on the market of good and service to get a living... Then peharps get scare try to go back... The rest is up to you....

Well, the goal is mostly to reduce the stress that this content is generating unnecesarily, there may be some stress every now and then but as long it kept to a minimum then it's all good.
