The first draft was a little different:

I slept on the sketch and when I got back to it, I did not like it. I felt like there was a better way to use the space in the scene. Having Mabel closer to the foreground led me to be able to have more fun with her messy hair and expression. As my canvas grew in size, I felt that where Mabel was originally placed was very empty, so naturally when deciding on another person, I chose Candy. It's these kind of changes that start my mind racing and now I have a good idea of where to take this next that is sure to leave everyone with a good laugh.
