For over a year we have been making mocaps using whatever small space would could scrape together at the soonest opportunity. The studio apartment we have been living in is VERY tiny and it was impossible to record mocaps at home. Most of the time we recorded while we were on vacation. We would bring our mocap equipment with us and record as much as possible in the span of a few days. On a few occasions we set up our equipment secretly in a spare bedroom at my parents house. Well, those days are behind us now. We now have a studio space of our own, and we're very excited!

Since we are officially moving this week, there will be an impact on releases in April. I have been trying to balance work, mocaps, and moving, and it's been very stressful. We will for sure release one paid scene this month, and I really think you guys will like it. (More details to come soon.) We still have several scenes to release which were recorded months ago, so for now the new mocap room will only be used for testing and experimenting. What's so amazing about this is we now have the ability to practice and perfect our skills on a WEEKLY BASIS, instead of cramming a bunch of mocaps into a few days, months apart. I anticipate that our production quality will go up, and our productivity will shoot through the roof after we get settled in. What new things do we want to use this space to create? More lap dances, POLE dances (yeah!!), story driven scenarios, and explore new motion capture methods that will carry us into the future, including scenes for VaM2, when it's finally released.

None of this would be possible without your support! Thank you SO much! My girlfriend and I are both incredibly thankful to all of you for believing in us and investing in our art. We promise that we will use this new studio to give you guys the BEST scenes we can create! These are exciting times!

NICE! Had to smile a bit about the "clandestine mocaping @ Parents house" bit ... Don't worry/stress yourslef overmuch about the April releases - you've been incredibly consistent so far, I trust you to continue to hold your end of the bargain. Also, stress is the enemy of creativity ("Fear is the mind-killer ....!") <3 Congrats on the new place! P.S.: Are those things US-type wallsockets? For a moment, I was wondering what weird-ass telecomms gear used those kind of sockets ... ;)

lol, a couple of times they asked what we were doing upstairs and I told them I was testing some new computer equipment, or something. Making mocaps has been a strange and inconsistent process so far. I'm excited to see what we can come up with when our dedicated mocap space is always set up at all times, right down the hall from where we sleep. :D

Congratulations! I know it's always exciting (and exhausting) moving to a new place!

Oh, and by the way...did you say POLE dances? Oh yeah. please, please, please!

That’s so awesome!! Can’t wait for more extensive mocaps!!

That's great news! How much square feet is the new space? I can't imagine how much space the mocap equipment takes, so hopefully more than enough space for you guys. Anyway, good stuff, relax when you can and I'm excited to see what you can do with this newfound space.

So proud of you both, this is such a deserved win! I hope your new space brings you more than just the benefits to be able to dedicate a space to mocap as you all deserve every bit of success you've earned and then some. Congratulations! :)

The space we have set aside to mocap is about 13 x 13 feet, which is a lot to work with. We're going to mount the base stations up high on the walls, and put blackout curtains on the window, so we can get some really clean, accurate captures. :)
