Dick went up against 3 cops and lost.. I mean... Dude got fucking OWNED. .....Now here in 4x08 ....He's surrounded by 8 cops.. And he's easily taking them on WHILE music is playing that's supposed to make turn him into one of the towns people ...Something doesn't add up ...Aside from there being 5 more cops in this scene 6. Also.. You asked where their tazers are ..I mean... Doesn't really matter ...They legit had shotguns this time... They didn't even NEED. to get close to Dick to take him out ....This just DOESN'T make sense 7. I agree Froots... There's certain scenes where they are most decidedly NOT. looking towards the people they were supposedly lip reading ....I'm also confused as to why they're able to speak so fluently ...I don't think I've EVER. encountered a deaf person being able to talk without slipping up or slurring their words (4x09) 8. Yeah transition DID. seem out of place ...This dude with the Magneto helmet said this cave was on Mount Kilimanjaro ....That's in Africa ...There are no suburbs in that location nor anywhere even remotely close for that matter 9. Ok this scene of Gar driving the bus looks janky as FUCK. ...That's CLEARLY a projection aiming to simulate that this bus is driving ....What makes matters worse though is the fact that the footage used is so fucking shakey ....IF they were ACTUALLY driving ...Gar and Raven would be getting thrown into every corner of that bus's interior 10. Ah ok ....I had to look that shit up ...I had ZERO. clue as to who this Niles Caulder was 11. How the hell has this shit been going on for 35 minutes and no cameo has happened yet!? ....Here I was thinking this was gonna be some GHUGE episode ...I've been keeping this shit on lockdown for over a year ...Deleting comments and whatnot trynna keep you safe ....Are they seriously cramming all the good stuff into the last 10 minutes?!! ....Kinda disappointing 12. "You are here for a reason" was something Jonathan Kent said yes ...However it was the voice of Jonathan Kent from the first Christopher Reeve movie that was used 13. I very much agree ....The episode was kinda ok ...Given I got spoiled well over a year ago I suppose I was expecting more than this ...Most of the episode turned out to be kind of meh because of the anticipation and then the cameos were a bit of a letdown honestly since it was all just archived footage.. Aside from Stargirl and Cyborg I guess ....Stargirl was cool but still it was over too fast and I don't care about Doom Patrol so Cyborg's appearance did NOTHING. for me ------- TOO ALL WHO READ THIS WHO'SE NAME ISN'T SHANNAN AND DON'T WISH TO BE SPOILED.. STOP READING ------- Alright one last thing CAMEO BREAKDOWN!!!! The Flash (Grant Gustin) - archive footage Stargirl (Brec Bassinger) - actual scenes - she posted a picture on Twitter and basically spoiled the cameo ..People behind Titans TRIED. to cover it up but it was too late Swamp Thing - archive footage Shazam - archive footage from the first movie as he's wearing the old suit Grant Morrison - a.k.a. the bald guy you didn't recognise ...He's the writer behind the whole "The red" ..A theme that was heavily used in this episode Teen Titans Go! - archive footage of Beast Boy Harley Quinn - archive footage of Kaley Cuoco's Harley 2 Jokers - archive footage overlapped of 2 Jokers - one being Joaquin Phoenix from Joker and the other being Jack Nicholson from Batman 1989 Smallville - archive footage of the voice of Doctor Fate from the Season 9 episode Absolute Justice Superman: The Movie - archive footage of the voice of Jonathan Kent telling Clark "You are here for a reason" Another Joker - archive footage of Cesar Romero from the 1966 Batman show Doom Patrol - and ofcoure Cyborg from Doom Patrol ...Given that Doom Patrol is set on another Earth according to Crisis ...They got some 'splaining to doooo ------- Welp... 2023-10-07 10:33:10 I'm glad you decided to power through these 3 episodes, because I was excited for your reaction to this one. This by far is my favorite episode of Titans up to this point. Beast Boy is a great character but he was so underutilized in the show so far. They kept teasing different transformations and only giving us glimpses. I loved that this episode focused on him and his journey to realizing his full potential. I would have been happy as shit with just his multi-transformation scene alone. That was what I have been waiting to see throughout 3 seasons and never got it. But then, the cameos! Even though most of them were archive footage, it was great to see the connectivity between different universes and characters. Oh and did you catch the part where just before Barry showed up, the helmet dude told Gar that in this universe, the Red is a force.... Basically meaning the Red is also the speedforce. Stargirl was new footage and it was great to see Courtney again. The thing that got me and I really loved was that Gar said take me to my family. Where does he end up? At the mansion where the Doom Patrol are. Because that is where he came from. So yeah, I geeked out about pretty much everything with this episode. Looking forward to rewatching up to the finale with you as well.

If Stargirl is Arrowverse, so are Titans and Doom Patrol. Certainly more so than Naomi is. The producer of Stargirl said: "If we had done a Season 4 of Stargirl, we would have referenced this scene. Maybe we would have kept Gar in Blue Valley for an episode."
