Oh shit, that was a great episode. I loved every minute of that. I dont like the breakup drama but it is a 2000s show so what should i expect? I love the 2000s vibe of shows but they do have a nasty habit of doing so many annoying tropes.

- Favorite nitpick of this episode is at the start. Obviously it's for dramatic effect so the FBI can chase only Max and Liz during the opening act, but it makes absolutely no sense why they get to drive away from the facility in Maria's slow ass Jetta with the very questionable engine while the rest of the group is in the Jeep and the armed Sheriff is alone in his truck. But of course your red button 🔘. And of course there's enough time to kiss, gather themselves then jump off the bridge. - Favorite part always when the original 6 are pairing up in the mine and then there's the shot of Tess basically going "oh I have nobody to hug". By the way, about how many times did you notice Emilie come out during this run of episodes? - Even though this is still and probably always will be my favorite show of all time I still acknowledge, criticize and point out the show's faults and idiosyncrasies, whether it be because of questionable story choices made, rotating writers or WB interference. As I commented at the start of the Tess-Pierce saga, I believe this arc was the show's apex and I absolutely loved where the show was positioned heading into Season 2 and what stories could have come from where we are at this point. Without a doubt there are many more great individual episodes still to come that I am excited to watch your reaction to, but the change of style is very hard not to notice each season. - Possibly most favorite random TV cameo ever, Howie D of the Backstreet Boys there at the end - 1 line, 5 seconds on screen and he gets "Special Guest Star" in the credits. He apparently was a big fan of the show that in their subsequent Black and Blue Tour of 2001, one of his costumes on the show was a black shirt with a big silver handprint. Hopefully you'll go straight into Season 2. If not, I'll probably rejoin once you do. Had a blast watching you watch Season 1.

It was a dead tie last time I looked at the poll but now it looks like us Roswell fans lost. I'll try to be happy for the season reaction we got. Like you said at the end - it just doesn't win polls.
