When it comes to History, don't worry about it, Shan. We've gotcha. :-) I get it about not wanting to expose yourself to extra anxiety by reading the news or even about history. You're definitely not the only one! I think that I don't like horror movies for a similar reason (more fuel for my imagination to be unpleasant to me? no, thank you). Generally, I think the best time to learn something is if and when you find an interest in it (at least in an ideal world). In a way, it even makes sense not to consume information that you don't care about. Misinformation tends to sneak in when you are not paying attention! P.S.: About Terminator:tSCC and other examples. The best shows are those where you can pick up more interesting things upon a rewatch!
