Truthfully yes you were a little hyper-critical about this episode, but at the same time yes there were many issues with this episode. I don't know why they decided to show Monroe's PTSD here but at the same time the smallest things can set off PTSD in this case working on the clock, this could have been the first clock he had worked on since the Wesenrein a-holes. You would figure Nick would have gotten around to telling Monroe and Rosalee before now, that was a little on the wtf side. This episode at the end of the day wasn't the greatest, it actually has the 2nd worst rating on IMDB for the season, way too many plot holes and really weird decisions.

Its only a 7.8 out of 10 on imdb. Thats actually really good for imdb standards. It really shows how good this season is if its the second worst rated episode and its still rated fairly high. For me personally, i dont really care about some plot holes, inconsistencies or the issues most people have. I tend to judge it on how entertaining it was and dont care for the problems people usually have. I know thats not how everybody thinks and feels but i just wanted to share some insight into my mind i guess lol. I just never really get mad at tv shows unless something really really bad happens and even then im usually more upset than mad. (Except the flash, thats like one of the only times ive ever been actually really mad at a tv show)

Interesting episode with some issues but In My Opinion not horrible. It does seem that becoming a hexenbiest does appear to be affecting Juliette's decisions. Although she’s been having issues all season. First her only thinking of herself when Adalind raped Nick. Then later when she was telling Rosalee to never mind finding a cure for Nick losing his Grimm powers without consulting Nick first. To be honest she never really accepted the realities of his life as a Grimm. She just wanted it to all go away. Becoming a Hexenbiest seems to be magnifying her resentment while making her more violent. Her having sex with Renard seemed kind of sudden but then again this could be another side effect of her hexenbiest nature, making her more impulsive and volatile. What Monroe may be having is called “Delayed-onset PTSD”. In these cases the first episodes usually start around 6 months after the trauma that caused it. There is often some innocent trigger that starts it, like in this case, the clock. I get Monroe/Rosalee jumping when Juliette changed. She did change violently while lunging at them. And both have acted frightened when confronting Hexenbiest in the past. Not to mention shock at seeing Juliette become one. I do feel that this episode would have benefitted from excluding the Monster of the Week (or at least making it a very minimal one) to focus on what it is going on here and to flesh it out. Plus, this MoW was a bad one, to many issues. I do like how they have always emphasized how Nick, unlike other Grimm, doesn't kill the Vesen unless he has to, but in this case you are correct Shan. They were not innocent, they all went after the gang with the intent to kill even though Nick had explained he was only there for the one guy, a criminal. Odds are they would do the same to any other innocent that happened upon them, making them a danger to everyone. And it isn't like he had to kill them, their own actions had put them in the position they were in. Still I do kind of respect his moral code. I agree that leaving the body in the cab was stupid it was done for humor. They could have just left it in the woods. It’s easier to explain freezing to death and less risky then smuggling a dead body to the middle of town. Silly.

It appears that Alexis Denisof left the show suddenly due to conflicts another role he got that was bigger Let’s face it, the parts he had here were fairly small so the producers let him go but left it so he could come back if the other thing didn’t work out. I know this is kind of spoilery but you seemed to want to know if he was in more, IMDB shows him in more episodes but these are credit only, no appearance.
