2023-06-02 07:45:11 Yeah, the show was made in a time when people were still very ignorant about the trans community. Richard's comments were not uncommon among men. It goes to show how far we've come. Society has become a lot more accepting and understanding of people that are not one gender or another. Episodes like this are reminders of our past and how we used to view things. Being part of the older generation, I remember how hateful people were towards others that were different towards them and it sucked. John's whole reasoning in his closing argument was also outdated. Men can easily become victims of sexual assault, the same as women and the whole frat boy attitude of "yeah, I'm sure it was really rough, bro" is cringe inducing but again, product of its time. Brian was right. Him and Ally weren't together anymore. She didn't owe him jack shit, especially after he pulled that stunt at the bar. I was expecting and hoping she would sock him actually. But at least it's safe to say the two of them are done and good riddance! John and Ally have such a great friendship. It was sweet that they just danced together. I'm here for more wholesome moments with them.
