In Season 2 All Might tells Deku that All for One accidentally created One For All when he gave a stockpiling quirk to his little brother and it merged with their quirk that he could transfer to another person. There have been several previous wielders of the quirk, Deku saw shadows of them during the Sports Festival against Shinso. All Might also said All For One probably has a quirk that stops him from aging when Deku said that he’d be more than a hundred years old. I don’t know if Shigaraki (formerly Tenko Shimura) knows All For One killed his Grandmother, and I don’t think the public heard what was being said during the fight, the cameras weren’t close enough to pick that up, as opposed to when All Might said “Now, It’s Your Turn.” when the cameras were close by. Excellent episode, I sobbed throughout most of it because I was afraid All Might would die, and “United States of Smash” gives me chills every time I watch it.

To add to that, siblings tend to have powers that are variations on the same theme, so All for One had the ability to give and take quirks, while his brother had the by itself useless ability to only give quirks. The stockpiling quick, meanwhile, wasn't all that great on its own either. It just slowly builds up power over time. I'm guessing the user normally would end up after years being noticeably faster and stronger, but probably not much more than that? This is just speculation on my part. The combo was a game-breaker though, since each person passes the power on along with all the power it's already accumulated, and it just keeps getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger without end.

It was NOT. a me thing, I did NOT. make it so that the subtitles didn't show up for 3x09. Although I can understand you'd think I would. I do tend to put effort into things. But I suppose whoever originally created the video file decided to be extra as well just in case someone who isn't you wouldn't be able to figure out the bad guy's name. Cause... Y'know.. People aren't all as smart as you ..smirk.. --- See this is the thing I lowkey kinda hate about anime The reveal: Bad guy: "Shigaraki Tomura is Shimura Nana's grandson" You: "Oh" versus Me: "Who??" I had to legit google that shit and by the time I figured it out I was just like ...Meh The language barrier with them using Japanese names for fucktons of characters (way more than a show needs) ends up with me just not being able to remember a lot of them and so what's supposed to be a "shocking reveal" becomes meaningless to me cause I'm clueless as to who they're talking about most of the time For crying out loud I don't even know the bad guy's name ...Is it One For All or All For One?? It's honesly so frustrating to lose track of their names that I might consider to stop watching cause I just don't know what's going on And this ends up with my main problem with anime which I've told you about before: I tend not to watch anime cause most of the time I have a hard time following what's going on... It'd be a lot easier if I had someone to watch it WITH. ...I figured watching this "with" you would be a viable solution to this problem for me ....I'll continue to try but I dunno ..It might be a lost cause
