Rachel Skarsten is the best. And Beth is so sweet. I love her. And Alice is such a psycho. I love her too. Can we keep both?! I WANT BOTH!!! In the flashbacks it was her first birthday since being kidnapped. The car accident happened on their way from their Bar Mitzvah, wich I googled and the ceremony seems to be held either the day after or the first sunday after your 13th birthday. So Beth was in captivity for almost a full year by this point(((

They used the term Bar Mitzvah here as a gender neutral term but there is a word for the female version....which is pretty funny in this context. It's called a Bat Mitzvah.

It's funny too, because my cousins recently had what's called a B'nai Mitzvah, which is a joint ceremony. I hadn't heard of it before then, even though I'm Jewish lol.

Yeah, the cat murder was difficult to watch. Even though it was offscreen and all you saw was their faces reacting, it was still heart wrenching. I love how you kept yelling at him the rest of the episode.
