The rest of Team Arrow in the future did not know Mia existed. Now their present selves do.

Disney15ish

Katie Cassidy actually directed this episode, as her first director credit, which could likely explain why Laurel was absent.

Personally I really liked Thea and Oliver this episode. I agree it wasn’t as emotional as some other goodbyes have been so far but I still really liked it. Having them come to the present makes the flash forwards worth it to me. My whole problem with them was I didn’t know where they were going with them or what they added to the story. Also if they meet baby JJ that’s gonna be weird, right?

I think the point of John's and Lyla's story this episode was establishing them even being aware of Connor, so that presumably, next episode, when he tries to explain how he's their adopted son John doesn't just go "who the fuck even are you dude?". Before this episode I think only Laurel knew that Bronze Tiger had a kid and she's not present in the Bunker in the last scene so... (I hope that doesn't mean another Laurel-less episode for Shan's sake btw)

The ending was very surprising, I can’t believe Oliver is going to meet his adult children!! With the flashforwards somehow I was hoping Mia would get to meet her father, so to me it was worth the wait. I also like grown up Zoe, but out of the core four I would sacrifice her cause I do like the others a little more. This episode was an Indiana jones inspired episode. And ofcourse Thea looked soooo good!!! The ending just got me real shook, I forgot about the rest of the episode ;)

I really missed Thea I always liked her character. Also the last scene with Oliver and Thea was heartbreaking for me. Because of the Crisis Oliver probably thought he will never see Thea again thats why he had tears in his eyes while hugging her

This ending surprised us all when it aired. What kind of character interactions are you hoping for? And who from past seasons of Arrow are you hoping pop up before the end?

I really liked Thea's character. I hated how she was written off. It was great seeing her again and I agree, she looked the best she ever has on the show in this episode. This season so far has been great because of all the nostalgia and returning characters. It's also interesting to see how all the shows are dealing with the upcoming Crisis. Although of course I have seen it, I only watched The Flash and Supergirl as they aired, so getting the bigger picture, as well as experiencing it along with you is nice.

Also like to point out Talia (Lexa Doig) also 48 years old, also married to Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson, Stargate SG1)

I mentioned that when the Stargate reactions started. "Talia al Ghul" is married to "Hawkman". LOL ; )
