According to gideon barry now has a top speed of 2325 miles per second or 3742 kilometers per second which sounds like a lot but its only 1.2% the speed of light The speed progression is wild though in the pilot it took him an hour of sprinting to get to Star City to talk to Oliver and now he can get to anywhere on earth in under 6 seconds.

Which is clearly wrong on the writers part. 1.2% the speed of light would not have been enough for what happened in Enter Flashtime and Barry is faster now. But he was time traveling in season 1 at speeds we can reach with fighter jets so the show isn't really good with that stuff. :)

Usually if they do lighting like they did for the fight scene is so they can hide the issues within the fight scene. And after looking at the cast and crew for that episode the actress who plays Ultraviolet did her own stunts for it (isn't a stunt women either) So my guess is her fight choreography wasn't perfect.

The arms dealer that Ramsey killed. His name is Mitch Romero. Probably a reference to George A. Romero a director best known for iconic Night of the Living Dead movie and it's sequels.......so I guess it's fair that Mitch turned into a zombie in the end)) Also I love every time we see Michelle Harrison, wheter it's Barry's mom or the avatar of the Speed Force, or now Joan. And it's always heartbreaking when they kill her onscrean, in front of Barry......hopefully it ain't gonna happen this time( Joan Williams is Jay's girlfriend and/or wife in the comcs. She was in like an episode or two on the Young Justice tv series, she was much older there just like Jay, maybe you remember)))

Although it can be assumed that Barry's reduced top speed could be situational due to the strain on his body from earlier in the episode. Either way nowadays he's definitly much faster than 1.2% lightspeed.
