A couple of weeks before the episode, when it was already public that Legends will 'skip' the crossover this year, one of the showrunners of LOT In the interview said that "Legends will crossover with themselves" or something along those lines, And as much as I enjoyed this crossover, and it was verry funny and fun. I think, I like this episode more than I liked the crossover event))) But I'm biased, by season 3 finale Legends def became my favourite show of the bunch and they just doubled down with silliness and shenanigans this season, so I was delighted with this episode, this is one of my faves!!!

Yes I remember the writers saying that they were crossing over with themselves.

Charlie is confirmed to be genderqueer and pansexual as seen from her flirting with Gideon and Zari and the actress who plays her is also openly queer. I thought it was funny how Shan sounded so happy to see the legends as puppets but the look on her face during that whole scene looked like it was saying "what the f**k am I watching?

Ray, Nate, and Mick as the Custodians of the Chronology - The name is a parody on Guardians of the Galaxy. While their characters, the title sequence, and the music is a reference to the 80's TV shows The A-Team and Airwolf. The 4th wall breaking in Deadpool is more blatantly obvious, and I do love it. But here it's a little more subtle. And I find Ray's "Sounds like the annual crossover." to be funnier than Kara's "So this is kind of becoming an annual thing, huh?" And make no mistake, Kara's line was breaking the 4th wall, though more subtle. But to each their own. Loved your reaction to the episode. "You know what's funny? She really kind of looks like my cousin." - Ray talking about Kara with Felicity "I refuse to set foot on the Titanic. Whoever built that ship ought to be shot." - Professor Stein

I was really looking to your reaction to the puppets cuz... Angel-Spike callback.

if the consequences are the same 1. Eddie couldnt kill himself like Constantine couldnt hit his father in one of the last episodes and 2. the legends always save the timeline with chaos or "screwing things up for the better" (like Sara said in one of the episodes 😅) so if the consequences are the same the present would be much more different. Bc Barry even corrected the timeline exactly how it was but no Baby Sara, no Dante and Ralph survived the particle accelerator explosion (in s1 they mentioned he died)

btw on Avas picture is written "replaced too soon" thats rude 😂

Think it is difference in Arrowverse when speedster timetravel or when you do it by timeship. Maybe

Speed Force vs Temporal Zone. (Regarding time travel)

I was also upset that the Legends weren't a part of the crossover, but I did really enjoy this episode.

Mark Chrisco

Gary was supposed to represent the Legends. Even mentioned them by name. Just didn't work

Diiirk706

....I....just...I Fucking LOVE Legends. SO MUCH.

The DC’s Puppets of Tomorrow bit is one of my favorites the show has done

They undid all the changes to the timeline, everything happened just as it did originally. They didn't blow up the unicorn, Constantine sent it to Hell, just as before. Not being able to restore the original timeline perfectly, like Jay explained to Barry using a cup and then Barry having that same talk with Nora, that's not part of Legends time travel. The reality is that, yes these shows are part of the same universe, but they each have their own writing staffs who have thier own stories they want to tell. It's a shame it can't be more consistant, but oh well. I still love both shows.
