My comments keep disappearing but I copy them before posting them so: Can you guys please cut her some slack? First it's her reaction, her opinions, if you're not happy with it don't watch. No need to be rude to her. Especially when most of her complains are valid. Like, don't pretend she's the only one who had those complains. I remember when this season was aired, most people hated it, most people complained about it. Mostly about the Snow/David thing. I bet half of you guys were among those, which would make you hypocrites, btw. Her problem is not that she doesn't believe they're not capable of that but that they were portrayed a certain way throughout the show and suddenly we learn that they did something they would never do. That's OOC. They wanted to make them more human, less 100% good and have them make mistakes but this is overdoing it. This season was terribly written, they made the characters ooc, developed storylines that didn't matter at all and that most people didn't care about but ignored those that should've been more developed and were necessary to the story. Again, most of her complains were fairly founded and not only you act as if she's alone in that (she's not) but you're rude and complain about her not being open minded. Because she has issues with things that you had years to think about or you had to use headcanons to make them make sense, which were then accepted by most of fandom as canon. I remember how so many people had to have people explain it to him because. this. season. doesn't. make. sense and is terribly written. This is her direct reaction, give her some time to think about it. Also, she's right about the potential for darkness thing. A major premise of this half season makes no sense. We have this event where the darkness was stolen from Emma and put into Lily. So now we see how Lily is compulsively dark, she’s a liar, she’s bad news, because that’s how she was made when the darkness got put into her. The darkness that was taken out of Emma. Yet we still see Emma having the option to go dark or light. Yet Lily apparently doesn’t have that choice. Even though it was a singular event that made each of them the way they are. Like…WUT? It’s a concept that’s at the centre of this current storyline, and IT DOES NOT COMPUTE. It's like they wanted to explore this idea of being a hero and being a villain, but they didn’t exactly think it all through. Why is Chernabog going after Emma when all her darkness was put inside Lily? Why is Emma capable of this level of rage and anger, holding a gun to someone’s head? A and E will tell you it’s because everyone has the ability to go dark but it doesn’t make much sense given what we saw in 417 and what we see happening with Lily who is apparently just *dark* (though we see that Lily is also kind and sweet and really does want Emma in her life in the flashbacks so again, that makes little sense with what is being said) The Apprentice took her potential for darkness but she still can do "dark" things ? Like steal and lie and rage and hate and freaking kill? He takes her potential away but later says she can still go dark. MAKES NO SENSE. It makes no sense to me (and to others still) and it's been years. And you guys expect her to have it figured out by the end of the episode? LOL
