I wonder if the Cruella movie is gonna rip off anything in particular from this episode

I'm surprised that Shan didn't notice that they used Cruella's theme song more than once this episode

Youre not understanding whats happening, just bc they took away her darkness doesnt mean emma cant do any bad. Youre overthinking everything

I agree you would think that by transferring the darkness away from Emma she should not be capable of such actions. However, on the other hand you could argue that by taking away Emma's darkness, Charming and Snow White gave her an even bigger potential to become dark. But perhaps I am overthinking things now.

I like how they presented Cruella as unredeemable. A feel like this show has a lot of redemption storylines, attempted redemption storylines, or storylines that at the very least make you feel bad for what may have happened in a villain's past, so it feels like a nice change.

Although Snow and Charming assured that Emma would be good, they didn’t take away her potential for darkness, which means it’s still possible for her to become dark if then she was assured to be born good. They didn’t make it impossible fo her to do bad things or else she wouldn’t have been able to steal when she as younger etc. It was just that because she was the product of true love she could be born as darkest villain or as the lightest hero, and they made sure she wasn’t born as the darkest villain. I hope that makes sense lol

Regarding Emma, she still has potential for darkness. She, like every child was born a blank slate, with no light or dark within them. But when Snow & Charming went to the Apprentice, they flipped the scales. Forcing Emma to be born on the side of light. Giving her an advantage in life. But just because the scales was tipped to the side of light, doesn't mean it can't be tipped to the side of dark. (Example: Like being born into a rich family. Just because your born rich (light) doesn't mean you'll always be Rich (light).) Just because Emma was born on the side of good doesn't mean she will never be dark. Emma will always have that potential for Darkness.

They didn't take away Emma's darkness. Remember the Sorcerer saying that she will have goodness but she will also have the potential to become dark, etc. He made it really clear that Emma would be endowed with a very large majority of goodness and light...but it isn't permanent...even Malificent mentioned something to this effect when talking to Snow and Charming at that one magic tree.

Omg Emma sucked so much this season how many times does she need to be told the author FORCED her parents to do what they did he WROTE them to do what they did.
