Although I completely understand your stance about the whole situation with Maleficent’s child and what Snow and Charming did, and even thought the same thing when I first watched, I saw an interview that changed my mind. One of the writers talked a but about their choice to have Snow and Charming do this, and said that they wanted to show that nobody is perfect and that they don’t believe it to be realistic that characters can be completely good and never make a harmful mistake, even characters depicted the way these two commonly are. They wanted to show the humanity of characters that are usually seen as nothing but pure of heart beloved heroes, and although it was in an exaggerated sense to fit with the story, it still got the point across.

Oooh i just figured it out, this flashback is from before they knew she was gonna be the savior so i think she only became the savior because they wiped away all potential darkness from her making her truly pure.

Hi, i respect your opinion but i just feel the need to share mine, i hope this doesnt sound rude. I love your reactions, i do but sometimes its really hard to watch your reaction to this as a Once upon a time fan. I feel like you always judge it too harshly, you always expect things that they never promised and just find reasons to not like something. For example, you saying its uncharacteristic for snow and charming to do this is wrong, this isnt a story about perfect fairytale characters, they make mistakes and they do bad things when they feel they have to, its a more realistic take which i dont think you are understanding. I truly hope you enjoy season 5 alot more because its very hard to watch your reaction when you gripe at everything that happens. I’m sorry for this little rant but this is how i feel and i hope you take into consideration. I do love your reactions though so thats the only reason i wanted to share my opinions. Hope you enjoy season 5 more.

And again this "they wouldn't do that". Of course what they did is wrong and they feel guilty and so they lie. Which is not okay, but it's HUMAN. Personally, I don't want to see a show where the heroes are exclusively perfect. And they don't live with that secret for 30 years either, because they didn't remember their old lifes for 28 years. You just expect every character to be honest, selfless and flawless. What an incredibly interesting and diverse show that would be if everyone was just perfect -.- OUAT just doesn't seem like a show for you anymore if all you do is make it miserable for every fan by getting upset about things that could be mentioned even once, rather than repeatedly every single week. It is absolutely no fun to watch the show with you anymore.

I appreciate your opinion, but (and I've said this before) but you hold too much on to how the characters are known in the fairy tales. And in OUAT you get a more human version and they are not perfect and make mistakes. But it is interesting to see the story from your perspective. Also on an unrelated note. Anyone who works with gold knows or should know that he is only interested in himself. Which means that he only works with someone when that is really necessary. And that Gold will sacrifice you if he thinks you have lived out your usefulness. Especially if your sacrifice can help him further with his plans.

I have to say, nothing upsets me more than when somebodys opinion differs from mine and they tell me a show isnt for me anymore just because I don't agree with them. I don't appreciate that at all. I'm not saying Snow or David are perfect or should be. I'm saying they wouldn't hurt somebody elses child in order to make sure theirs would be 100% good. Snow had a huge breakdown when she killed Cora. This is another persons child. It's entirely out of character for them both and I don't appreciate basically being told that my opinion is wrong. I enjoy the show, I will continue reacting to the show. If you don't get enjoyment from my reactions anymore, that's completely fine; but don't tell me the show "isn't for me anymore" just because I don't agree with your opinion. Season 4 wasn't the strongest season for me and that doesn't mean I won't enjoy season 5 as I haven't gotten there yet to judge it. I'm aware I was a bit judgemental in this season and I spoke to my editor about it and he basically confirmed to me that this storyline as it aired wasn't really well received. So either, in time it makes more sense or it never did, If that's the case, give me time. Give me a break. I don't have as much knowledge as you do about the show. We're not all going to have the same reactions and opinions and that's okay. But please don't tell me to stop watching something just because you don't enjoy the reaction.

The way i understood it to be was the author was manipulating reality and forced the snow and charming nonsense but they lack the magical strength to understand what happened so they are left to reconcile "what they did" with the heros they want to be.

Sometimes opinions differ so much that someone comes to a boil and then you get situations like this. Perhaps it would be best for Dodo to stop watching your OUAT reactions, If he gets that frustrated with your opinion regarding this season or show. For then it may be best if you part ways at this point. I just hope Dodo hasn't diminished your motivation for watching / binging this tv show

I think everyone needs to take a step back, she reacted to all of these episodes BEFORE she uploaded them to Patreon. This just means that she hasn't read our comments from the episodes prior to reacting to the next episode, so this is going to keep happening. I think we should respect her opinions even though it doesn't match ours. This is a show, people are allowed to have opinions, that's what you are here for, to see her genuine reaction and her genuine opinions. I don't want to offend anyone but she doesn't have to adore it like we do.

Further to that, she can still like the show but also not be a fan of certain events/storylines. In fact, her reaction to the ep before this one was very positive. No one is going to like anything and everything in every single episode.

I haven't watched the reaction yet, but I just want to say that it's ok for people to dislike something about a show they are watching. For those who know, I am certain plenty of people have had big problems with Arrow, especially during seasons 4 and 6. That doesn't necessarily mean that they should stop watching it or get over their problems. If they quit now, they might miss good things to come and will be left wondering how it ends. About the Snow and Charming situation, I personally don't really have a problem with them doing what they did in the past for reasons, but I do think what they were doing in the present was out of character for them. The whole secrets thing, felt it was happening just because the writers thought it would be interesting, not because it was something they would do. I'm not saying Snow and Charming are perfect, but I do feel they would have owned up to the mistakes they made in the past.

They were FORCED to do what they did the Apprentice said it and she still said they wouldn’t have done that of course they wouldn’t again the author FORCED them aka WROTE them to do it.
