I get that some at the salvatore school view vampirism as a curse but why didn't they make Raf a hybrid? The magic of vampirism would have kept him alive.

Wow Shan. Way to be a downer, way to downplay every good sentiment that the show did to leaving cast member and his character. And leaving a way for him to potentially return, should they need the Excalibur or Arthur's descendant in like season 3 finale or in season 4 if they get one........"I don't hate Raf, but I hope he dies"

Death needs to mean something or else there is no real danger and it all turns into Supernatural where 9 out of 10 characters always come back. And who else to actually die but a completely underutilized and kinda forgettable character like Rafael. Then again they should probably kill off someone who's actually important and make that permanent. Also, Sidenote: Why are you always so critical about everything she says? Why so mean? Did you shut off your humanity switch? 😁✌

It's gonna Hope who dies and becomes a vampire or something silly, like Alyssa herself dying, because Sphynx considered her a Salvatore student P.P.S. Marvel never kills anybody exept Quicksilver, but I'm still invested, when characters on Supernatural were dying i was still sad and i was still crying, sure in the back of my head I knew they would probably be back somehow, but in the moment I didn't care.

I don't think I like Hope dying, I'd like to see a full on tribrid but you know daaaamn well they'd nerf the shit out of her real fast. Probably make her human too. And Alyssa isn't all that important, Took me until the end of Season 2 to figure out she was a character and not just some mean bish who showed up on set.

The thing is Hope knows there is an after life. So didn’t they just cheat him out of finding peace. Either he’s coming back or this shows getting cancelled? You’re not the only one whom doesn’t like the bad guy. They would have been better off picking an old rival of klaus whom is trying to Kill Hope and the students. I’m not sure if this shows going to survive much longer.

I’m getting the feeling the shows getting cancelled. The writing and logic always gets thrown in the bin when they find out the show is coming to an end. It’s kind of like how the Vampire Diaries and The Originals had really weak last seasons. This is feeling the same

The network is happy with the show as is. It isn't getting cancelled. The episodes we're watching right now are all still leftover from last season. This was all supposed to be building to the dramatic conclusion of a season followed by the normal 4 to 5 month break.
