I agree with Luke calling Jessica a POS. They made it very clear that it's not because of what she did under Kilgrave, it's because of what she did after which was all completely fucked up.

I feel like Luke's issue was with how Jessica handled the situation after Kilgrave. She decided to get close to him knowing what she did. I think that if she would have told him everything as soon as he found out about Kilgrave it would have ended up differently.

I love how you call Malcom "Power Ranger". I laugh every time. Yeah, Luke, someone Jessica cares for,, confirming her worst self image issue has to be devastating. Also, him saying how she slept with him knowing what she did and keeping it secret. Only admitting it when she had to. Double gut punch because she can't use the Kilgrave made me excuse. I get why she did but it really disarms her justification. Very sad.

Right, I mean she basically admitted (silently anyway) that she wouldn't have confessed if Luke didn't find out. So I definitely think him being pissed at her is justified.

That's what makes this show so great. I think this is better than all the Netflix Marvel shows. The villain is insanely powered and already has a twisted history with our broken hero. Now he's playing with her like a cat. With regards to Luke, I get his side. She both withheld the truth of his wife's death and slept with him despite knowing he wouldn't want to if he knew that truth. I get her side though as well. PTSD is a destructive disorder. They wrote into her character so well. Drinking drown out the constant guilt, pushing family and friends away, and acting in self destructive ways. It's not surprising she ended up being so close to Luke either. Killing his wife basically became the most pivotal moment of her life. He's so thoroughly attached to that moment in her life, it's not shocking she became obsessed with him. Such a brutal scene. I loved your reaction to it. Can't wait for what is to come.
