This episode is supposed to replicate the 60s and women at least in the US started wearing pants more during that time

Andreas Froby

Glad that you reaction to this. Was afraid I need to wait for somebody to sponsred it. You are the first reactor to acknowledge Anya yeah. And Von Strucker was in Age of Ultron, the man who turned Wanda to how she is.

I did not catch that "anya" and bunnies reference when I watched the show myself...but when you pointed it out I was like "how did I miss that one?" Also glad that the episode ended in color...gives me hope that it will continue in color and hopefully soon lead to ....something more! This show isn't bad...it's well acted and the script is pretty decent. It's building up suspense for sure and making everyone speculate and talk. All good things, but if I wanted to watch a 60's sitcom I'd be watching a 60's sitcom.

Zach Hershman

You're not watching a 60s sitcom. Both episodes have actually represented two different eras.

Have you noticed the S.W.O.R.D. logo in both episodes? It was on the computer at the end of the first episode and on the helicopter in this one. That's interesting since S.W.O.R.D. hasn't been introduced in the MCU yet. There has been a lot of talk (hope) that Daisy will appear in future S.W.O.R.D. content. Another thing you may or may not have noticed is the commercials in each episode so far have represented traumas she has been through. The Stark Toaster's timer sounded like a Stark bomb. The Strucker watch was because Strucker experimented on her and her brother.

I appreciate your perspective...but from my perspective both episodes were a play on the 60's Bewitched... possibly I Dream of Jeannie...but both shows were 60's sitcoms. Maybe you saw something else in them...could be. It's all subjective based on your own experiences. I'm just looking forward to when this part of the series ends and we get to real MCU style superhero Television! Which I'm sure is coming at some point...just hope they don't drag it out too long...as funny as these episodes are, they are not what I'm watching this series for!

Tom Tattershall

Sorry, no rabbit reference. Agnes said to Dottie (Anya) "Hiya, Dottie! Your roses are divine." Women wearing pants was not uncommon in the 60s. Laura Petrie (Mary Tyler Moore) wore slacks often on the Dick Van Dyke show (1961-1966) and that show seemed to have been the inspiration for much of Episode 1 of WandaVision.

There was an end credits scene with Fury at a S.W.O.R.D facility.

Zach Hershman

If you're talking about the end of Far From Home then that was a Skrull facility. Fans have speculated that it will lead to S.W.O.R.D., but to this point that is just fan theory. The studio hasn't said anything.

Twin beds - yes, that was a censor's requirement for TV shows made in the 50's and 60's. I'm not intrigued yet by this new series. I'll give it two more episodes before I abandon it, especially if these are only one-off stories in each episode. Besides, I have a lot of other reactions to see for shows I enjoy much more.

TheMew

Guess your right. I must have filled it in, in my head when watching the film at the theater and from watching easter eggs vids. I my mind went straight to SWORD because he was in space and it was Fury. I guess they didn't actually show the symbol or anything so this would be technically the introduction of it unless or until they connect the two.
