Talon Karrde

Richard dean Anderson's O'Neill is so much more fun

Tony

You are most welcome :) More will be coming!

I love the Stargate shows. The beginning is a little dated cheesy but it looks better pretty quick and the story is good and I like the characters. I also liked Stargate Atlantis and Universe.

James jackson

Im surprised you didn't mention or notice the daniel jackson/hawkman connection.

Michele

I loved this show and the spinoff's too.

Dude, THANK YOU so much for this. You're my new favorite person lol

ar47yrr4p

as far as I know...it's the same Skara and his father Kasuf... but everyone else seems to be new actors

Talon Karrde

Teal'c in this episode yeah his turn didn't make sense... it will be explained later

Zach Hershman

I so wanted to like Universe because it has some actors that I have enjoyed in other pieces, but the show is majorly flawed. It is really lacking in the likeable character department.

Sean Ellingham

The nudity was forced by the network (to show it was an 'adult' series IIRC), not something that was wanted by the producers. Removing it was one a number of changes made in the director's cut that was released in after the show ended

Yeah, it was Showtime, I think, and they demanded nudity and harsh language. The producers threw the minimal amount in that they could get away with, then stopped doing it altogether.

It should be noted that the movie and show aren't quite in the same continuity. The basic events of the movie did take place in the series, but their are a number of different details. 1. In the movie Abydos was in another galaxy. In the series, they can't normally go outside of their galaxy and Abydos is actually pretty close to Earth. 2. O'Neil's name is spelled slightly differently in them. O'Neil vs O'Neill. Other names are also changed. 3. In the movie the Stargate Program is in Creek Mountain, while in the series, it's in the real like Cheyenne Mountain complex. 4. In the movie, Ra is a humanoid alien and the last if his species. In the series, he is a snakelike aquatic creature and there are plenty of others.

It’s so weird rewatching certain moments they’ll eventually have fun with when they become self aware.

Love this show

I love this show, and Daniel Jackson is up there with Wesley Windham-Pryce as one of my all-time most beloved fictional characters.

David Brown

18:04 No Shan, he's not the guy who was originally played by French Stewart. 24:47 This is the character originally played by French Stewart (the guy sitting next to the guy you thought it was). The guy that ended up in the hospital bed halfway through the episode. The actor playing Dr. Daniel Jackson (AKA Smallville's Hawkman) and the actress playing Sha're, his wife, actually fell in love and dated for a few years after meeting on this show. During their relationship, they had a daughter together. But they eventually broke up. He is now married to the actress who played Talia al Ghul on Arrow, and together they have a daughter and a son. (So, Talia al Ghul married Hawkman, LOL)

I think Rodney McKay is more on par with Wesley. With being a character you hated in the beginning with their introduction then finally you can’t help but love the know it all.
