I don’t know if I can make it through watching this again so soon after 😖

Eileen is deaf. I don't think calling her would have done much good.😋

Sorry Shannan. Big hugs! Finally an episode with substance! And heartache. I've never been as in love with Cas as others, but I do love the character. I think this is one of the best scenes in the show. It highlights the foundation of the bond between Cas and Dean. It was so beautiful. It had me crying. And it was done so well. I know the fandom exploded after this. In so many directions. I don't ship destiel. At all. And I've argued against it. But I've never doubted that they loved each other. And I don't doubt that Cas's love is not just platonic. It's Complicated. And that's part of what makes it so special. Cas is an angel. Human feelings can't be equated with angel "feelings". But Dean had brought out true feelings in Cas. That's no lie. It's a complicated bond. I love it. I just hate it when people inside on cheapening it to basic human type romantic feelings. It's more than that.

I think you may need to rewatch that scene some time, to catch what you might have missed. When you can. If ever. But Casino is truly at peace. He's Happy!

I agree 100% that everything between Cas and Dean is platonic love. I think their bond is very special and it doesn't need any romantic element to be so strong. However, I think the level of emotion from Cas in that scenario was way out of character. If the emotion was cut in half I think the scene would have come off better for me. It was well done and wonderfully acted, I just think less would have been more with Castiels emotion.

I agree that jack may be becoming Death. I think he’d be even more powerful than Billie and perhaps even OG Death, who was around as strong as God. Then jack can finally match him

I always remember Death saying that he would reap God one day, so unsure why they can't just try stabbing him with the scythe. However I don't think Jack is becoming Death. I think he's becoming a god. Destruction AND creation. In balance. We've just seen the one part (at least if we kill God). Jack could give the boys a world without monsters (or at least akin to the world we know)

Ok, I don't know if this is Castiel's actual death, but when compared to the three previous times he died I felt this one.

2 great back-to-back episodes! I'm hyped...and nervous...and scared for these upcoming final 2 episodes!

I think the writers didn't know how to pace this final season. It can't just be business as usual. Some plot in the beginning, filler for awhile, plot mid-season, filler and then plot driven towards the end. Since it's the swan song of the show, you need to go all out the whole season, tie up loose ends and build to the climax. That's why Cas' death scene was so like WTF. It didn't feel like they built it up enough. They had one real plot ep before it since the mid season. It's like it just came out of the blue and it was unnecessary to boot. Billie was dying anyway. Like they couldn't get away somewhere, or keep running, instead of locking themselves in a room that they knew she would get into? Cas should be in the final fight. Maybe he still will be, which would cheapen this ep and that would be unfortunate. I am hoping the writers got it right for the penultimate ep and finale.

"apologies for the screaming" ...after watching abnormallyadam's reactions you're just fine, lol. (and I absolutely adore abnormallyadam's reactions so I don't mean that in a bad way against him. He's just a major screamer, lol)

I had to brace myself to watch this... I was holding my Cas pop figure as well... not sure if you know but the hand print they only thought of that on set... the actors and I think Richard Speight came up with it last minute. This was the first episode of anything I've ever sobbed to - I've cried many times hard at shows, but never full on sobbing before! (and then I sobbed twice within 3 episodes of each other - ep 18 and 20)

End of season episodes, we learned to shake off... we had next season to look forward to. A Supernatural joke was, nothing stays dead. But an end of SERIES(close to end) episode... we knew that it was going to be permanent. ALL Supernatural fans shared many tears over this.
