It was frustrating to have an episode without directly picking up with Saltzmans in Prison World. But the episode was a fun one, so I didn't mind. But Pothos was a bad guy, from the Malivore pit, so I don't get why you were upset with Hope cutting his wings off. Also, he did say that his arrows were just amplifying love that's already there, so I don't understand all of your consent remarks. Everyone was clearly consenting to making out and stuff. He didn't force anyone to love anyone they didn't want to love. It's kinda like an alcohol lowering your inhibitions and maybe you'd do things you normally wouldn't do, but every encounter was definitely consensual.

The thing with Hope cutting the wings off "Cupid" (as she believed at the time) is that she did that before they really knew he was a bad guy. Even so, I personally didn't so much think "that's horrible" as "LOL, she really is her father's daughter." As for the comparison to alcohol, that doesn't really help your "consent" argument. I mean, say for example you're in a committed relationship with someone you really love. That doesn't mean you're never going to find anyone else attractive, just that you are determined to never act on those attractions. If one of these other "attractive" people drugs you or gets you so drunk you can't think straight and gets you to sleep with them, that's still legally considered rape, even though there may have been a part of you that found the person attractive.

Sure, maybe alcohol was not the best comparison. But the dude said that already existing LOVE is amplified. Jed was into Emma, she was not into him. So when he confessed his love she didn't jump on him and started making out him and dry humping him like crazy.......Jed is a good looking guy, I'm not even gay, but surely he's "attractive" as you put it. So why didn't Emma jump on him? Because she doesn't love him. But she clearly still in love with Dorian, so much so, that she married him here. I say that is enough of the evidence and rest my case.

Just because Jed isn't hard on the eyes doesn't mean any part of Emma ever looked at him as more than a student, so I say your case is still short of anything resembling sufficient information and that the alcohol analogy was still more spot on than you intended.
