The reason they killed off Stein's character was becuase the actor was wanting to return to his broadway roots

David Brown

They were originally thinking of actually going through with seperating Firestorm, but ultimately decided to kill Stein off instead. The actor wanting to leave was why they made Lily pregnant in the first place, causing Stein to decide to retire.

BREAKING NEWS: The vigilante known as the Green Arrow was sighted fighting Nazi invaders on American shores, despite this, the FBI assures us that murder charges against suspected Arrow Oliver Queen are still pending on the grounds that no real hero would hijack a friend's wedding like that!

Disney15ish

The reason Parts 2 & 4 didn't have a recap is because it was a 2 day event with episodes airing back to back (Day 1: Parts 1 & 2, Day 2: Parts 3 & 4)

kyra bah

I will never forgive them for the double wedding 😂

Ajb

What happened to Wally he was there for a little in part 1 he must still be knocked out 😂

I’m sick of Guggenheim’s shit. It was his idea to have the crossover center around Barry and Iris’ wedding and he couldn’t even give them just one day. No he had to force his Olicity fan ship too because it’s “cute” and brings in “Olicity viewers” Dude just one day. Just ONE day. Please no sane person would go let’s have a double wedding because why not.

Hey John (who wasn't even invited to our wedding) would you be the pastor for us? we want to get married right here where you just vomited.

Oh man. Stein death is always a waterfall for me. No matter how many times i watch it, I'm crying like a little bitch and bawling my eyes out.......... and then we kicked a lot a Nazi ass for the Professor's memory...... and then we had that abysmal ending with the double wedding........ just couldn't go out on top, could we))))

David Brown

When was he knocked out? He got all the other guests to safety.

I think the only thing that annoyed me the most about this crossover is that not everyone went to the wedding. I can understand maybe they couldn't afford to, but it still annoys me. I wouldn't be so mad if they gave a reason but they didn't.

Walter Alcaraz

Oh, and everyone forget to contact Wally to bring Joe and Cecille back so they could see it. Because, you know, Iris' family wouldn't want to see it, right?

Walter Alcaraz

How about the end. Joe presumably paid for the entire wedding (according to tradition), and it gets ruined in Part 1, and he's not even there at the end of Part 4 to see her get married..... after shelling out all that money.

Walter Alcaraz

Barry has to let him go. What happened the last time Barry imprisoned Thawne? Something called Flashpoint. Also, Barry was rescued from the Speed Force again, spending all that time. Maybe he saw something while in there so he knows he HAS to let Thawne go for some reason.

Wyatt

Me: Can’t wait to see the comments on what everyone liked about the crossover Everyone: Here’s what I hate about this crossover

Wyatt

Honestly I don’t care about the double wedding. I mean we had the whole Iris and Barry wedding already and at that point I am more interested in them being married then how they got there. I believe my reaction was “Oh they are both getting married? I mean that’s kinda rude but whatever.” I mean in real life, sure, it’s super not okay to do that but also... CW can barely afford one crossover a year. Honestly to me, it was just them fixing another stupid mistake from Season 4 of Arrow

Wyatt

CW only gives so much money to crossovers. If they brought in more characters, you probably would have lost characters in other crossover episodes or other episodes this season

Wyatt

Well Flashpoint happened because he went back and altered events not because he captured Thawne. Also both those times Barry killed in a fight, this would have been straight up murder

Zach Hershman

John was presumably invited. They said he was rehabbing his injuries in the first episode. The real reason John, Cecile, Joe, and Wally were only in a small part of one episode though is because these crossovers are incredibly expensive to make. They couldn't afford to pay for everyone.

David Brown

28:37 Shan, our Kara asking Earth-X Kara, "General, would you care to step outside?" is a reference/homage to Superman 2 when Christopher Reeve's Superman said it to General Zod. Overgirl and Overman are Supergirl and Superman's parallel Earth Nazi names from the comics, about 10 years before this crossover. 32:37 To quote Mack from Agents of SHIELD, "Roll credits". Note how at the end Oliver & Kara just fist bump, while for everyone else it's hugs all around. Legends of Tomorrow ended the crossover because Stein's death had to be in the Legends episode.

Ajb

Must have missed it

Walter Alcaraz

Furthermore, in Flash S01E09, the first time Barry encountered "The Man in the Yellow Suit" after becoming The Flash, Thawne said to him "We've been at this for centuries, you and I. But I'm always one step ahead." Evidently, this won't be the last time we see Thawne. Also, remember that future CC news article in the time vault where Iris detailed The Flash (Barry) fighting the Reverse Flash in the future (2024). So, that still needs to happen. If Barry didn't let Thawne go, it might not.

Luis Garcia

I think that a double wedding would have been better if the four of them kind of agreed upon it ahead of time. I think it was kind of rude of them to interrupt in the middle of Barry and Iris getting married. I think it would have been better if the four of them agreed to get married before they brought Diggle over.

This crossover was great! Really brought together all heroes well and they each had their moments. But as Shan said, everyone was left a bit sour at the end with the double wedding shenanigans.

Mark Chrisco

I always thought it appropriate if after the funeral Rip Hunter had made an appearance to pay his respects alone

I just want to say I always found it funny that each of the three villains storylines wrapped up in a way that was very true to the show they were attached to. Oliver murdered his evil doppelganger, Kara's died too, except it wasn't Kara's fault, and Barry's escaped to come back later.
