The actress that plays the therapist is Donna Pescow. Way back when, she was in the movie "Saturday Night Fever" (1977) with John Travolta. The movie that signified the disco craze in the US in the 1970s. Her character Annette was in love with Travolta's character Tony Manero.

The bit with Barry dancing to Old Time Rock and Roll was a reference to Risky Business. Old Tom Cruise movie.
