None of the British Men of Letters can do a British accent and Ketch's is the worst.

You make an interesting point about Charlie's name. I'd never thought about it before. Asmodeus can home in on Gabriel's grace. No amount of warding can get in the way of that.

This is going to be one of the few times I say that the writing team (Buck-Leming) who did this episode did a decent job. They still aren't the best at some interaction/relationship writing, or with cultural referencing - but they did okay with this one. The issue with Charlie's name is one of the sort of things they miss. They just likely didn't really think it of it, because I doubt they knew it wasn't her real name - they should have. Anyway. ugh Season 13 seems like redemption time for ketch - and they seem to be pushing it. It's not working for me. I don't see that Ketch is actually on anyone's side here. He's on his own. He came to sam and dean because he needed protection from asmo, so no plus side for me with that. I guess Asmo is supposed to be the one showing us that Ketch isn't really that bad, with that exposition he did to Ketch, about Ketch. Bullcrap. Someone who is as Asmo says Ketch is inside, would NOT have been able to do what he did to people. This is very obvious retconning. One way to look at Ketches change in viewpoint is that he's not the only Big Bad who's changed after interacting with the Winchesters. Crowley. Rowena. Meg. It happens. They have influence. Where has Cas been? I didn't realize until he showed up in this episode that he was gone, but I don't know what the reason was. Why didn't he go with Dean? Why did Sam give the grace back to Gabriel!? They might need it to go rescue Dean if the rift closes! That's really stupid Sam. Gabriel will recharge himself. I wonder if Asmo had Gabriel in Hell and that's how he got broken so quick. 8 years is ot much time to an archangel. Poor Jensen. The snow was an unexpected surprise when it came time to film. Poor Jensen had to basically lie/sit in the snow for hours to film some of those scenes. But he's always a trooper.
