I would compare korra to faith in season 3 of buffy. (We just haven’t had a lot time to really see how broken she is we just saw the end point which was her trying to kill herself.) When someone isn’t holding you back and you already suffering from mental illness it is easier to be bad then good. Especially when you have a god complex. (Power does corrupt people.) Korra found a way to be herself and has someone supporting her. (Similar to faith and the mayor) It’s also similar to ward and Garrett’s relationship. To you an outsider it seems too easy but tell that to people who supported Hitler or other people with power even though they knew they were doing bad things. It’s easier to get manipulated when you are mentally broken. We aren’t even sure what their end goals is. It may be bad for our team and that’s it which isn’t really Korra’s concern since she doesn’t know them.

This was such a great episode! I've been going through this season with you and I'm sad that it's almost over!

I think Jemma might have had a baby. Of course she could trust Fitz to take care of their baby, but she's sad because she herself had to leave the baby behind. It may or may not be Deke's mom. For all we know FitzSimmons could have a few kids, and Deke's mom could be the youngest. It's never been stated one way or the other.

Great reaction! A groundhog day episiode, but they did their own little twists on the old formula. Really liked how they put this episode together. Enoch's scene at the end is one of my all time fav from this show. This is a top 5 episode for me I think, but still working out my top episode list :)

Look at the parallels between Daisy and Cora. Daisy was so worried about how destructive she was she shot herself with an icer. She had hope that they would somehow figure out a way to remove her powers. Cora feels the same way but she knows the powers can't be removed. That's why she tried to kill herself. Daisy's mom then started to teach her how to control her powers and she started trusting her (even before finding out who she is). With Cora, she was at a point of a mental break because nobody could help her. Not even Jiaying. Once you get to that point it's easy for anyone to swoop in and influence her if they can help her. That's how Nathaniel is able to swoop in and become a mentor to her. You'll notice that the scene at the end is the exact thing that Jiaying had Daisy do. She had Daisy use her powers to make music with the wind glasses (they still all exploded in the end). Nathaniel just went straight to the destruction. Interesting tidbit, Jiaying's failures in being able to help Cora turns out to be how she learned how to help Daisy when she came to Afterlife.
