They killed Missouri bc the actress is extremely talented and busy even more so then Jeffery Dean Morgan we're actually lucky to get Loretta Devine for this episode!!!⚘👌

Missouri's son is the captain on Arrow, he also played another character on Spn a demon Sam and Dean interrogated back in the early season like 3 or 4 I think. Also played a couple of characters in Smallville like Griff in s5 who worked for Lex and in s9 one of the Kryptonians working for Zod.

Fun fact about Missouri, after her first appearance in season 1s Home, she was supposed to return for the season finale. However, because Loretta Devine was busy filming as Adele Webber on Grey's Anatomy, they had to rewrite the finale a bit. Instead of Missouri, the character of Bobby Singer was created. Bobby took over where Missouri was meant to be and ended up being the hunter/parental figure to the boys that we all know and love, and was originally meant to be Missouri.

I loved your discussion at the end!! And agree with you on it all too. It's a writer's trick and you know it very well by now. I hate it when the writer's cut corner's like this, with her death being so sloppily handled. If they were going to kill her off at least have it be valid. I can often sound very negative in my comments, but I do love the show. I just care a lot. I do need to remember to also say more about what I like. lol
