The Cyborg Superman name is a bit corny but it's pulled straight from the comics. Hank Henshaw, as Cyborg Superman, was one of the four Supermen that debuted during the Reign of the Supermen story that happened after the Death of Superman. https://www.syfy.com/sites/syfy/files/styles/1170xauto/public/superman_78_8.jpg

Your Jimmy Olsen complaints make complete sense. A lot of people had them at this time. I personally don't disagree with you. For my enjoyment I decided I would look at James as different from the traditional Jimmy. In a universe where we have seen quite a few different versions of Harrison Wells' I don't think that's really stretching the boundaries of possibilities.

you could say the same thing about hank henshaw, manhunter has been white or black before like on smallville so he could be black on supergirl like he is but in the comics hank aka cyborg superman looks like superman so it doesn't really make sense for him to look like he does on the show just like jimmy but i've learned to go with it with both it's an alternate reality. i also thought they might have had henshaw really die and then have jeramiah become cyborg superman instead especially since he was superman on lois and clark and the missed the opportunity to have him be like controlled or something and be in a superman suit and then become good later. missed opportunity. or have him fight henshaw and become cyborg superman after winning. I dunno just spit balling.

I put this in another post but I was just watching and thought I would respond to your comment when you said how are you superman you don't even look like him. i understand because in the comics henshaw looks like superman closely but i think when the cast him they made him look more like manhunter has in the past and not henshaw or superman has. so he he cyborg superman in name only and because of being a cyborg being strong and having powers from cadmus thats all. I've been waiting since the pilot to bring this up because you never never mentioned recognizing the henshaw name and he is bug superman character form the comics and has been in an animated film. I thought you might mention how they changed him like how they did with jimmy.
